ADVF ×
Partnership in action

Global support.
Moroccan clinical leadership.

ADVF contributes clinical expertise, volunteers, equipment and resources, documentation, and fundraising support. The Association Marocaine Médicale de Solidarité (AMMS) leads local patient care, clinical protocols, community coordination, field operations, and follow-up.

This is a partnership built to meet patients where they are and strengthen care beyond a single mission.

What happens next

A clear path from interest to service.

  1. 01
    Join the volunteer roster

Choose the medical or general application and share your skills and availability for the October Morocco mission or upcoming mission trips. Creative and specialist volunteers should use the general form and describe their skills.

  2. 02
    Needs-based role matching

For the Morocco mission, ADVF and AMMS balance team size, qualifications, availability, and confirmed mission needs. Space is limited, and some roles may require an interview.

  3. 03
    Clearance & onboarding

Selected volunteers complete required agreements, screening, safeguarding, travel preparation, media protocols, and—where applicable—medical credentialing.

  4. 04
    Mission assignment

Approved volunteers receive a defined role, preparation guidance, and a general itinerary. Travel details remain subject to change until confirmed in writing.

Serve responsibly

Compassion is the starting point. Readiness is the standard.

Eligibility & selection

Applicants must be at least 18 unless ADVF gives written approval for a supervised exception. Mission placements are limited and needs-based; placement is not guaranteed and depends on experience, conduct, availability, references, team balance, and required clearances.

Medical credentials & scope

Clinical volunteers must provide current licenses, credentials, and requested documentation. All care is delivered only within an approved role and under AMMS clinical governance and applicable Moroccan requirements.

Safeguarding, privacy & media

Consent comes first, patient care takes priority, and dignity matters more than dramatic content. Photos, video, interviews, and stories require approved consent; a parent or guardian must consent for minors. Volunteers must stop recording immediately when asked.

Travel, cost & logistics

AMMS has committed to in-country transportation, accommodation, and meals for the accepted delegation. Applicants should maintain a valid passport and be prepared to arrange international airfare. Any travel support or reimbursement depends on the assignment and must be approved in writing before booking.

Cultural humility & local authority

Volunteers are expected to follow AMMS and ADVF leadership, respect local customs and modest dress guidance, remain flexible during long service days, and work within their assigned role.
