Upcoming: Ksar El Kebir, Morocco | October 23–25, 2026

ADVF is preparing to work alongside AMMS and Moroccan clinical teams to expand access to vision care. Medical professionals and mission-support volunteers can express interest through our volunteer roster.

Completed: June 2026 | Tiddas and Moulay Bouazza

The mission supported 231 cataract surgeries through collaboration with AMMS and local teams.

Our international outreach has also included Tijuana, Hebron, Beirut, Port-au-Prince, and San José. In the United States, ADVF has provided pro bono cataract and refractive care to patients in need.

Building Sustainable Access

Best Eye Surgeons

Mobile diagnostic capacity: ADVF’s current planning prioritizes refurbishing an AMMS mobile unit for screening and diagnostic services.

Surgical capacity: Additional refurbishment and equipment upgrades are being developed with AMMS to strengthen outreach. Scope and deployment depend on confirmed needs, funding, and readiness.

Local training and innovation: We support knowledge sharing with clinicians and collaborate with Vision Innovation Institute (VII) on technologies that may help expand access to care.
