Renata Stone, MBA, joins the Andrew Dougherty Vision Foundation (ADVF) as a Board Member and Director of Directors, bringing a powerful combination of executive business leadership and a deep commitment to the vision care industry. With a career dedicated to expanding access to and excellence in eye care, she aligns perfectly with ADVF's mission to eradicate treatable blindness. Her strategic expertise in growing vision care practices and her passion for impactful service will guide the foundation's governance and strategic direction.

Strategic Leadership & Marketing Excellence

Renata is a proven leader with over a decade at the helm of vision care organizations. She served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Unifeye Vision Partners and, prior to that, as the CEO of DLV Vision for 11 years. During her tenure at DLV Vision, she successfully facilitated its expansion into several key markets across California, including Los Angeles and the Central Coast.

Her leadership is complemented by her standing as a published national author in ophthalmology, contributing valuable insights to the field. ADVF welcomes her multifaceted expertise and unwavering dedication to best practices, which will be instrumental in amplifying the foundation's reach and impact.

Education & Credentials

Renata earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in finance, Cum Laude, from California Polytechnic State University in 2006. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Phoenix in 2009.

Personal Commitment & ADVF's Future

On a personal note, Renata is the mother of two young boys and is a seasoned triathlon competitor, global explorer, and literature enthusiast. This balance of disciplined achievement and rich personal experience informs her thoughtful and dedicated approach to leadership.

In her role on the ADVF board, Renata will help steer the foundation's overarching strategy, ensuring that its life-changing surgical missions and programs are executed with maximum efficacy and sustainability. Her vision is to leverage strategic growth principles to help ADVF scale its compassionate work, moving steadfastly toward the goal of making treatable blindness a thing of the past.
